PASADENA FORWARD’S ISRAEL ESTRADA JOINS PASADENA MAYOR BILL BOGAARD IN
“WALK WITH THE MAYOR” AT THE ROSE BOWL

Pasadena, Calif. (August 17, 2009) – Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard’s special guest for “Walk With the Mayor” in September is Israel Estrada, Executive Director of Pasadena Forward.

Come out and join Mayor Bogaard, Israel Estrada, the Pasadena Forward staff and other community members in walking 3.1 miles around the Rose Bowl on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Radio station 100.3 FM The Sound will be joining us in spirit of the upcoming 2010 Pasadena Marathon presented by Kaiser Permanente on February 21, 2010!

                WHEN: Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 7:30 AM (Walk begins promptly at 7:45 AM)

      WHERE: Meet at Gate A at the Rose Bowl. Parking is free!

      WHY: Because it’s a great way to start the day with a great activity with great people.

“Walk with the Mayor” is Up & Moving Pasadena’s effort to encourage the community to embrace fitness for health. Walks are scheduled every first Wednesday of the month.
